Preschool
Half Day Combined 3 & 4 Year Old

Monday through Thursday
Mornings: 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
Afternoons: 12:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Our program provides for the individual and group needs of each child so that the child will develop their talents to their fullest potential. Through directed group sessions and free unstructured play, the child becomes more familiar with school, more self-confident, and more excited about learning.

GOALS

  • Cognitive: The children will increase their knowledge base of facts and develop problem-solving skills; the children will experience many forms of written and verbal communication.
  • Emotional: The children will increase their self-esteem and become more independent.
  • Social: The children will interact with each other one-on-one and in small group settings.
  • Physical: The children will improve their fine motor skills and gross motor skills.
  • Diversity: The children will learn to accept similarities and
    differences in others.

Teacher Biography

Mrs. Linda Brusa has been teaching preschool at St. Zachary since 2001.  Her previous teaching experience includes preschool, 1st grade and middle school. Mrs. Brusa has been recognized in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.  She is married and has 2 daughters.  Her hobbies include reading, traveling and sewing.
